Native to the area, Paula graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School. Following high school, she attended S.U.N.Y. Farmington where she received her Degree in Veterinary Technology. After working several years as a veterinary technician, she returned to college and was awarded her B.S. Degree in Biology from Arizona State University.
Previous to her position at the Veterinary Laboratory of Rochester, Paula was employed as a research laboratory technician at the University of Rochester. A member of the laboratory staff since 1989, Paula is Director of Laboratory Services.
Married to Peter, a local second grade teacher, Paula enjoys the companionship of her 2 black Labs named Bubba and Rodger and her 2 cats named Ruby and Josie. Her leisure activities include camping, gardening, baking, fishing and caring for her 3 children – Ellie, Grace and Tom.
Laboratory technician since 1998, Megan has been employed at the Veterinary Laboratory of Rochester since 1999. A graduate of Cornell University, she received her B.S. Degree in Animal Science in 1998.
Megan's leisure activities include reading, gardening and attending garage sales. At home, she is often trailed by her cat named Elvis.
A technician at the Veterinary Laboratory of Rochester since 1997, Jodyna attended Alfred State College and graduated in 1994 with a Degree in Medical Technology.
Jodyna is married to Craig and have twin daughters named Ava and Dane. Both enjoy gardening, hiking and caring for the children. Their pets include 2 cats named Smudge and Sassafras and a dog named Rosie.
Employed as a laboratory technician for Monroe Veterinary Associates since 1984, Barbara has been involved in the animal care field since 1978.
Barbara's hobbies and past-times include hiking, jazzercise and cross country skiing. She is married to Bob, a financial planner, and they have 2 children named Christian and Nick. Their pets include 2 cats, Ozzie and Mabel and 2 dogs, Henry and Pickles.
With a background in nursing, Lorraine attended St. John Fisher College and Monroe Community College. An honors student at M.C.C., she was awarded a Degree in Biotechnology. Lorraine has been a technician at the Veterinary Laboratory of Rochester since 1997.
Outside the laboratory, Lorraine enjoys hiking and camping with her dogs. Committed to rescuing animals, she has a menagerie of pets. Her pets include several dog, numerous cats and 2 parakeets.
Lorraine is married to Josh, an auditor for Xerox. His hobbies include computer games and problem solving.
